"The Estate Magnolia"

"The Estate Magnolia". The inspiration for this lovely Magnolia came from the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, NC. The gardens of the estate have so many beautiful flowers throughout the different seasons, but this gorgeous white blossom just caught my eye. The original painting was donated to a local charity's live auction, but limited edition reproductions are available on archival watercolor paper.

"La Ventana Azul"
"The Blue Window"

Windows create a bit of mystery in a painting. While staying at La Quinta
Hotel in the Palm springs area, I was taken by the charm and quaint look of the window display of color and shadow.

"The Dreamweavers"

These beautiful climbing roses used to grace the trellis outside my studio. Their fragrance and prolific nature cast their spell every spring and summer morning.

"A Quiet Moment by the Pond"

A winery in N. California had this lovely waterfall and pond for visitors to enjoy. Apparently we were not the only guests enjoying the pond that day!

"Three Orchids Opened"

As buds on this orchid plant kept opening, I would turn the vase and keep finding nature's own arrangements for a painting or two. This piece was a prelude to a larger painting when more buds had opened. Click here to see the larger image - threeorchidsopened.jpg (72995 bytes)

"Synthia's Antiques"

Almost every town has a Main Street, and ours had a charming
antiques/collectibles shop, with the most delightful sidewalk displays. Here's one of them that caught my eye and just had to be a painting. Original owned by Synthia

Limited Edition giclee reproduction on archival watercolor paper. Signed by the artist.

"Mary's Hydrangeas"

These hydrangeas were such fun to paint, with all the color variations in the full blossoms. A little extra greenery and corkscrew willow dress up this still life. Original only.
Double mat, not framed.
Size: 20" x 26"

"Fountain Goddess"

This lovely maiden caught my attention in a local nursery. At the time, I was attempting to manipulate reflected light and color to give a stone sculpture a more human quality. Harder to do than I thought! Original only.

 Unframed. 21" x 27"

"Canopy Harvest"

These rich grape clusters were buried in autumn colors just before harvest in the Dry Creek Valley area of Northern California. It was a real temptation not to pluck a couple from the vine to taste before they ended up in a wine bottle! This image has been a very popular limited edition, and is limited to
only 250 prints. Original is in the collection of the artist.

All of the reproductions from Suzanne's Studio are called Giclee prints, and are high quality fine art reproductions of original watercolor paintings. The vibrant hues and subtle gradations of color in the original work retain a beautiful painterly quality, when this digital printmaking process is used. All papers are 100% cotton, acid free and have been selected to best enhance the artwork. Reproductions on artist canvas have a matte finish, "canvas" look without bleeding, and won't crack when stretched.  Limited edition prints are signed and numbered, and are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
