"San Felice,
Italy"
|
Ah, Italy.... everyone has their favorite remembrance or dream. This
building was part of an old village that has been converted into a hotel- what a lovely retreat after tasting wines all day.

Original only.
Dark cherry wood frame. Framed size: 31 x 38

"China Alley,
Ventura, CA"
|
On a field trip with my daughter's class, we toured the old historic area of Ventura and discovered that at one time, there was quite a large Chinese neighborhood, complete with laundry, grocery store, etc. This entrance honors the memory of that old neighborhood. It caught my eye that day, not only because of the colors, but also the shadows cast onto the pavement from the intricate
pattern of the gate. |
Original only. Double matted. Size: 21 x 28

"Spicy Siesta"
|
Hot, hot southwest flavor!! I was attracted to the textures in this still
life - shiny chili peppers, woven basket, fabric serape, wood crate. It all
works so well together - just like a great big bowl of hot, spicy chili. |
Limited Edition giclee reproduction on archival watercolor paper. Signed and numbered by the
artist.

"Seaside Celebration"
|
This study was created for a strawberry festival poster contest - I didn't
win, but the fresh colors and juicy strawberries have made this a popular
kitchen/breakfast room addition to many homes.

Limited Edition Giclee Reproductions - signed and numbered on archival
watercolor paper. |

"Little Bear in a Red Chair"
|
This sweet little bear was propped up in a child size
Adirondack rocking
chair in one of my favorite antique stores - who could resist that look and soft
cuddly fur?! |
Original Only. Gold ornate frame. 28 x 23

"Furry Friends"
|
After painting "Little Bear" and having so much fun with the process, I created another similar still life in the same antique rocker, but with two fuzzy
bears. At the time, I was preparing for a show at a naval base, and what could
be more patriotic than some red, white and blue blending together in a
painting? The original was sold at the show, but reproductions capture the charm
and spirit of these buddies. |
Limited Edition giclee reproduction on archival watercolor paper. Signed by the artist.
